Your store's admin login
Your store has an admin area — the back office where you manage products, orders, and settings. Your portal keeps its login details so you always have them to hand.
Finding your login
In your portal, open your store and go to the Settings tab. The first section, Store configuration, shows your store's addresses and setup at a glance — storefront and admin address, store ID, Magento version, plan, image storage and message broker — and, under Admin access, its login. You'll see:
- The admin address — the web address of your store's admin area. For security this address includes a randomized path (not the usual
/admin), so it can't be guessed. Bookmark the full address from your portal. - Your admin username.
- Your admin password — hidden by default; use Show password to reveal it.
Only the account owner can see the admin login, and only while the store is running. Your store's language, currency and time zone aren't shown here — they're managed inside your Magento admin.
Good to know
- The randomized admin path is a deliberate security feature — there's no fixed
/adminURL to find or attack. - After importing a database, your main
adminaccount is given a new password (the database you imported carried the other store's logins). Your portal shows the new password as usual; the other admin accounts from the imported store keep their own passwords. In the rare case the new password couldn't be set, the portal says so instead — sign in with the imported store's own admin login. See Migrating a store in from another host.
