Monitoring your store
The Monitoring tab shows your store's health and traffic at a glance.
Availability
At the top of the tab you'll see whether your store is reachable from the internet. We check it automatically from two different locations every couple of minutes.
- Online — your store is reachable. "Checked … ago" shows when we last looked.
- Not reachable — your store has been unreachable for several checks in a row, from both locations. We're alerted automatically, and the card shows since when.
- Checking… — we don't have a confident answer right now. That happens for a store that has just started, while an operation such as an update, an import or a move to new hardware is running, or during a wider network issue. It never means your store is down.
Uptime history
Below the status, a strip of bars shows the history: one bar per hour for the last 24 hours, or one per day for the last 30 days (switch with the buttons).
- Green — your store was reachable.
- Red — your store was confirmed unreachable at some point in that hour or day, including while it was being brought back after a hardware failure. Hover over a bar to see roughly for how long.
- Grey — not checked: an update, an import or a scheduled move to new hardware was running, there was a wider network issue, or the history doesn't go back that far yet.
Uptime % above the strip is the share of checks in that range that found your store reachable. Grey time isn't counted either way.
This check confirms that your store is being served. It doesn't test your store's own pages, so a problem inside your shop (for example a broken extension or theme) can still show as Online. Use your storefront itself to check those.
Current usage
- CPU — how much of your plan's processor your store is using right now.
- Memory — current memory use (as a percentage of your plan, and in GB).
- App Storage — how much of your store's disk is used (used / total).
- Log disk — how much of the log storage is used (used / total).
If any of these sit near the top of your plan's limit for a sustained period, it's a sign you may be outgrowing your plan.
Last 48 hours
Trend charts for the last two days:
- CPU — processor usage over time.
- Memory — memory usage over time.
- Requests — how many requests per hour your store is handling.
- Response time — how quickly your store's hosting answers our automatic check, measured from two locations (one line each, named after the city it's checked from). It shows the speed of the path to your store, not how long your pages take to build: a slow page or extension won't show here. A sudden, lasting rise on both lines is worth a look; a short spike on one line is usually just the network between that location and your store.
